Airlab is AIRNOVA's in-house research and development department. Constantly in tune with the latest technological innovations and trends in modern style, the team combines concept development with prototype development and responds very promptly to the rapidly changing needs of both the domestic and contract markets.

Founded in 1989 in the Udine district, Airnova specialises in the production of leather and metal furniture for the domestic and contract markets. The extensive range consists of more than 150 products that benefit from the added value of using premium Italian leathers. The strong trust that links the company with international design and architecture studios leads to stylistic choices that combine timeless elegance with continued innovation in technology, forms and materials. In 2016, Airnova appointed Italian designer Gian Paolo Venier as its artistic director.
