Bořek Šípek

Prof. Dr. Ing. arch. Bořek Šípek, who was born on 14 June 1949 in Prague, is a world-famous Czech artist, architect, designer and university teacher. He is the artistic director of the Czech Deco Team, an association of architects, designers, manufacturers and importers of design furniture who decided to cooperate on joint projects and contribute to the promotion of Czech design.

In 1968 he emigrated abroad, where he worked first in Germany until 1983, where he studied architecture and at the same time studied philosophy, then moved to the Netherlands. His works can be found in many permanent collections of world galleries and museums (New York, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Seoul, Beirut, Tokyo, Bangkok), etc.
