Calvi Brambilla

The Milan-based design studio was founded in 2006 by architects Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla. Their work combines architecture, design, but also, for example, exhibition concepts. Both artists graduated from Milan Polytechnic and have teaching experience. They approach all their projects on the basis of a wealth of professional experience and after careful cultural preparation. Among the numerous prestigious collaborations, we can mention the brands Saba, Serralunga or Varaschin. As creative directors, Calvi and Brambilla work for Flos, the brand for which they designed the Teardrop collection of recessed ceiling lamps.

Of particular note is the Tibidabo collection of garden furniture created for Varaschin, which can also be found in our e-shop. The range includes a chaise longue, rocking and classic armchair, bed, coffee table and other outdoor pieces. In recent years, the creative duo has been collecting one design award after another. In 2017, they received the Calvi Brambilla Good Design Award 2017 for the Ettore table and the Archiproducts Design Awards for the Bahia bed. Between 2018 and 2021, they won several German Design Awards, ADI Design Index and Good Design Awards.
