Florian Schmid
Florian Schmid (*1984) belongs to a promising young generation of talented designers. He founded his own design studio immediately after graduating from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. His portfolio is truly broad - from furniture, accessories, textiles to consumer goods. Florian's design is very playful, and he is not afraid to experiment, but always respects the natural properties of a particular material. His aim is to make the environment we live in better and more beautiful and to evoke the right emotions in his clients with his products.
Florian Schmid has received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious IF Award for 2012. He regularly exhibits at prestigious design shows. For the Italian brand Miniforms, he designed the Claretta collection of wooden stackable chairs inspired by the atmosphere of Parisian bistros, as well as the Acco range of tables and coffee tables with tops made of glass, ceramic or stone.
