Francesco Geraci

Francesco Geraci was born in 1943 in Rijeka. In 1962 he moved to Florence, where he still lives and works today. Since 1969 he has been working in industrial design. Geraci was one of the founding members of ADI's regional delegation and has been a member of ADI's Osservatorio Permanente del Design since 2007. His professional career is crowned with achievements and international awards such as the Chicago and Miami Design Awards.

With his numerous creations playing with forms, ideas, periods and materials, he has demonstrated that he has a unique cultural background and sensibility. His latest UNI seating project for Metamobile embodies the sophistication of a designer who is able to explore new conceptual horizons with exemplary harmony, personality and a sense of beauty. In addition, he has designed for Metamobil, for example, the unconventional IBIS range or the minimalist but original PUNTO collection.
