Javier Moreno
Javier Moreno graduated from EASD Alcoi in Alicante, Spain in 2005. After graduation he started his career as a product and 3D designer in a toy factory. He then went on to work as a product designer and product manager in the furniture and packaging industry. In addition, he developed projects as a freelance designer for national and international companies before founding his own design studio, Javier Moreno Studio, in 2010. He later renamed it to a new product design agency called Bambú Studio, covering product design, development and consulting services, with Javier Moreno as CEO and Creative Director.
He believes that design should be something close to people and also aesthetically pleasing. He enjoys meticulousness and strives to achieve maximum use in the design process. His approach is clear, simple and close to the end user. And he has carried this philosophy into his work for Softline, for whom he designed the Standby and Clay seating collections.
