Jonathan Radetz
Jonathan Radetz is truly a renaissance man, as he is involved in several different fields at the same time. He opened his own studio called JONO CONCEPTS in Frankfurt in 2013, focusing on product design. As a trained master carpenter, Jonathan eventually graduated from design school and divided his attention between designing furniture, home accessories and jewellery. Jonathan Radetz is part of the modern design group e15 and also works with the jewellery workshop of Stefan and Saskia Diez, who have deeply influenced his approach to work.
Jonathan Radetz's design pieces represent the unique and novel vision of their creator. The central themes are timelessness in its modern form and a literal obsession to capture this phenomenon in practice. Creative work is Jonathan's ultimate passion. He is constantly searching for new possibilities and forms of artistic expression, drawing inspiration from fashion, architecture, furniture, but also from nature and the company of other people. He analyses every new idea down to the last detail. Then, with his own playfulness, he combines different materials and shapes to create another original product. You can see the effectiveness of this method, for example, in our SCHÖNBUCH product catalogue, for which Jonathan Radetz created the minimalist KON mirror.
