Luca Botto
Luca Botto was born in 1966 in Udine. He studied at the Department of Architecture in Venice while independently interested in industrial design. He works in interior design, designing residences and shops in Italy and abroad, and in industrial design. His first products were God Save the Queen and the Hayku chair for Accento, and he designed the White Flower kitchen and Little box for Meson's. This is a series of designs for which the glass sublimation technique was developed on an ad hoc basis. This technique provides the ultimate highlight of the floral arrangements by photographer Massimo Gardone that characterise both designs.
Botto is currently working with many international companies, including LaCividina. He has designed countless luxury functional products for this brand, which include products from the NAP, PINCH, MYPLACE, ELLE collections and others. Like most designers, Luca Botto is a perfectionist, and so every piece influenced by Botto's art is refined to the smallest detail.
