Lucie Koldová
Lucie Koldová is a furniture and lighting designer from the Czech Republic. She graduated from VŠUP in the studio led by the design duo Jan Němeček - Michal Froněk from Olgoj Chorchoj studio. Then in 2009 she moved to Paris, where three years later she founded her own studio. Lucie Koldová designs furniture pieces, glass sculptures and timeless lighting. Her work covers everyday products, conceptual spaces, urban areas, as well as poetic galleries and limited series. Kold uses classic craftsmanship with the use of cutting edge technology with a primary focus on basic materials such as wood and glass. She enjoys working with colour, unusual dimensions and contrasts and her objects are often timeless. She spent a year in the studio of renowned Israeli designer Arik Levy in France. Today, she is the Creative Director of Brokis and has her own studio in Paris and Prague.
