Lucy Kurrein
Lucy Kurrein decided to pursue a career in art at an early age when she graduated from Leeds College of Art and Design. She then went on to study furniture design at Buckinghamshire University, graduating in 2007. After spending several years at Matthew Hiltons and PearsonLloyds, the UK's Royal Industrial Designers, she set up her own design studio in London in 2013. In the same year she launched her first sofa in collaboration with SCP.
In 2015, Kurrein was awarded "Young Furniture Designer of the Year" by Homes and Gardens magazine. She is currently one of the most exciting new designers working in Europe. Among her works is the elegant LUCY modular collection, whose individual elements can be assembled according to your requirements to create a completely original product.
