Ludwig Kaimer
Ludwig Kaimer , an industrial and product designer with a focus on furniture, lives and works in Berlin. His artistic passion is to create pieces that are aesthetically pleasing in appearance, but at the same time abound in sophisticated structure and functionality. His emphasis is on diverse design phenomena - he is not afraid to explore novel production processes, to analyse the practicality of his products or the hidden symbolism and interpretation of signs.
During his long-standing collaboration with Laeufer & Keichel , he has been involved in projects for premium brands such as Kristalia, Zeitraum, Lammhults and others. He was the house designer for Cybex, for whom he created its first furniture line. Despite being very busy with his own projects, he collaborated with a prominent Dutch designer on the Marcel Wanders collection for Cybex. In his spare time, Ludwig Kaimer volunteers as a member of the exam committee for the model making apprenticeship. Would you like to have your own Kaimer at home?
