Maddalena Casadei

Anarchitect who has made a name for herself in the design field as she has been at the side of James Irvine, to whom she has been a right-hand man for many years. She now works as a product designer, set designer, interior designer and art director. She regularly teaches at several Italian design universities and is a visiting professor at the Swiss art university Ecal.

Maddalena was born in Forli. She studied Architecture at the University of Ferrara and holds a Master's degree in Design from Domus Academy. After many years with James Irvine , she worked with her colleague Marialaura Rossiello Irvine under the name Studio Irvine. In 2017, she embarked on her own career and set up her own design studio in Milan.
