Marcello Ziliani
Marcello Ziliani was born in Brescia, Italy in 1963. In 1988 he graduated in architecture from Politecnico di Milano under Achillo Castiglioni. After three years abroad, he returned to Italy and devoted himself mainly to the development of projects in the design of furniture, accessories, lighting, bathrooms and offices. In addition to exhibitions, he also worked in theatre set design, design coordination, graphic design and communication. His designs are light, minimalist and playful.
He doesn't like absolutism and indestructible certainties, he likes to always look at things through different eyes. Since 2011 he is a professor of product design at the University of San Marino / IUAV. He has worked on projects for Allibert, Casprini, Ciacci, Ciatti, Domitalia, Geuther, Inglesina, Infiniti, ISA, Krios, Krover, Lanzini, Magis, Modo e Modo, Norda, Olympia, Opinion Ciatti, Pali, Parri, Pedrali and Progetti.
