Mattias Stenberg
Mattias Stenberg, born in 1975, is a Swedish designer who graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In 2010 he founded Vision A&D, a studio that focuses on contemporary architecture and design. Stenberg's design philosophy is based on three pillars: clarity of concept, form and material. Stenberg's architectural work influences the way he works with furniture and lighting, and he describes his furniture as miniature architecture. Since starting his practice, Mattias Stenberg has received several national and international awards and mentions for his designs, including the German Design Award, Good Design Award and Nordic Designer of the Year.
Studio Mattias Stenberg is a mixed creative practice based in Stockholm, Sweden. Projects focus on contemporary residential architecture, furniture, lighting and design of everyday objects. "The studio was born out of my strong desire to combine architecture and design with my background in business development and engineering. I believe that good concepts are those that are immediately understood and consumed by the user. This will always be the core and starting point of all our projects." His products are characterized by graceful lines and unconventional shapes. Highlights include the ON POINT table collection or the unique MOVE ON bar stools for Offecct.
