His father, Per Weiss, is a leading figure in Danish industrial design. Born in Denmark in 1959, the multi-talented artist originally began his career as a professional musician. During his studies, he worked for a number of well-known Danish architects such as Friis & Moltke and Schmidt-Hammer & Lassen. In 1988 he successfully graduated as an industrial designer. Since 1989 Per Weiss has become one of the most distinctive and personal figures in innovative design in Denmark. He is currently the designer and creative director of Innovation Living.
