Paola Navone
Paola Navone was born in Turin, Italy, where she grew up and studied. After moving to Milan, she started working as a designer. From 1970-1980 she made a name for herself by working with Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass Jr. and Andrew Branzi in the group Alchimia. She worked with many artists and designers, which allowed her to learn about different styles and use different techniques in her work. Paola Navone has worked in many creative industries as an architect, product designer, business consultant, interior designer, store and restaurant designer, exhibition and event organizer, lecturer and teacher. Her clients include Driade, Swarovski, Abet Laminati, Casamilano, Alessi, Knoll International, Slide, Cappellini, Roche Bobois and Armani Casa and Habitat. In 1983, it won the prestigious Osaka International Design Award.
