Paolo De Lucchi

Paolo De Lucchi was born in Padua. He graduated in Architecture from Milan Polytechnic in 1989. In 1994 he started working with the Michele De Lucchi studio in Milan on major architectural projects in northeastern Italy. In 1998, he opened his own studio in his hometown of Padua, where he is involved in design, consulting and professional training. In addition to practicing his profession as an architect, De Lucchi works as an industrial designer for Italian companies diversifying the industry in the field of new lighting design. Through these partnerships, he has developed a deep knowledge of new design technologies and lighting control in different application areas: from residential to the office world and large shopping malls. He also teaches industrial design at the Universita del Progetto in Reggio Emilia.
