Paolo Favaretto
Paolo Favaretto was born in Padua in 1950. In 1973, after graduating in architecture from the University of Venice, he founded the design practice now known as Favaretto & Partners. He has gained considerable international experience in industrial design and consultancy, working with leading firms around the world, winning major awards and accolades. He is a former president of ADI North East and the Trentino Alto Adige delegation (Industrial Design Association), founded and chaired IIDD (Italian Institute for Design and Disability), and currently represents ADI at BEDA (Bureau of European Design). He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Committee of the European IDIA project (Inclusive design and intelligent technologies for accessible workplaces).
His work has appeared in many leading Italian and international design books, trade publications and websites. In early 2007, the monograph "Paolo Favoretto, industrial designer" was published, outlining his work.
