Paolo Vernier was born in 1946 and has been designing chairs from an early age. He learned how to transform ideas into designs and implement them. The smallest irregularity or technical error motivates him to find solutions and improve.
You could say that he has matured alongside his products. In 1988 he founded his company MIDJ, where he still serves as president. Thanks to him, MIDJ is now known all over the world. He continues to travel, gain knowledge, learn and enrich the company with his unforgettable managerial and creative skills.
His style shows a noticeable preference for simple and elegant lines for his design projects, which are then easily adapted to any public or domestic environment. When drawing, he pays exceptional attention to technical and design elements that allow for excellent value for money. He is one of the few designers who can combine creativity and also understands technological workmanship, two separate areas that usually do not easily fit together.
