Peter Maly
Peter Maly studied interior architecture at the Fachhochschule in Detmold, Germany, and is today one of Europe's most prominent designers. In the 1960s he covered interior architecture for the magazine Schoenen Wohnen and in 1970 he founded his own design firm in Hamburg. He often collaborated on his projects with the most important European furniture manufacturers. He likes linear and geometric forms, which characterise his clean, functional and always up-to-date style. His achievements are reflected in worldwide awards, including the book "Designermonographie 5 - Peter Maly" and the exhibitions "Peter Maly: works from 1967-2001" in Berlin 2002, as well as the "Kunstgewerbemuseum" and last but not least "Peter Maly: a classic among modern designers".
