Raúl Barbieri
He was born in 1946 in Milan and graduated in architecture from Politecnico di Milano. For a long time he worked in industrial design and in 1989 he opened his own architectural studio in Milan. He became particularly famous for his design of terraced houses, which were presented at the Compasso d'Oro as well as at the ADI design exhibition in London. Many of his projects have been awarded at prestigious design competitions. In addition to the Good Design Award, Form Design Prize and Design Plus, Barbieri has been honored with numerous other international design awards.
His work continues to reflect his love for industrial design, which is why you will find many practical accessories or minimalist seating furniture in his portfolio. All simple, elegant, purposeful and endlessly practical. In our portfolio, you will find him especially in the products of Rexite, with whom he has established a long and fruitful collaboration.
