Roberto Paoli
After graduating in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1994, Roberto Paoli immediately started working in small design, specializing in glass bending and plastic injection molding techniques. From this experience, he started working with brands such as Fellowes and Fiam Italia. This allowed Roberto to acquire the technical and methodological knowledge that allowed him to form his design idea. He believes that functionality and technology must go hand in hand with the shape of objects, which e always influenced by materials.
His studio, based in Milan, specialises in both the products themselves and the architecture. Roberto Paoli is also a creator and curator of exhibitions and cultural events. He currently designs for brands such as Artemide, Nemo Cassina, Muranodue, MIDJ and Serralunga. His products have long attracted the interest of the international media. In 2009, 2010 and 2011 he was awarded the Chicago Good Design Award three times in a row . In 2019, he was awarded the Good Design Awardwith his latest collection Pippi for MIDJ.
