Satyendra Pakhalé
Satyendra Pakhalé Associates is a design firm founded by designer and architect Satyendra Pakhalé, whose output ranges from building design to technology products and architecture. Born in 1967 in India, he studied at the renowned IIT - Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and later at the Art Centre College of European Design in Switzerland. He was part of the pioneering "new business creation" team that proposed some of the first ideas for new technologies in digital communication and transportation design at Philips Design in the mid 90's.
Satyendra Pakhale is also known as an industrial designer and architect. He has undertaken projects ranging from industrial design, applied research to product design, development and manufacturing. He works in the areas of product design, including consumer electronics, transportation, home appliances, furniture, digital products and computers, and architecture and interior design, which he creates for companies such as Magis. In 2008, he was selected as one of L'Uomo Vogue's 80 most influential creative people with a worldwide vision in design and architecture. His works are in the permanent collections of several museums around the world.
