Studio Slide

Slide Studio is one of the most dynamic groups in the world of lighting design and produces rich and complex works bearing the label "Made in Italy". It was founded in 2002, combining Italian passion with design and a strong international orientation to become one of the leading companies in the interior and exterior lighting sector. The team consists of about 35 product designers, interior designers, graphic designers and engineers constantly looking for fresh new ideas and listening to the needs of the market.

The Slide design office is a continuous volcano of ideas, a creative, chaotic and colourful space where everyone can experiment, try new things and create. The studio is flooded with prototypes, material samples, lighting elements, 3D printers and new designs and is the heart of the company where projects are the fruit of a love for design. The infinite possibilities of plastic related to technology and original vision of the object give life to unique products. These innovative products such as Globo, Dino, Cubo bulbs are unconventional decorations for any interior. The founder of Slide is Giò Colonna Romano, who was born in Sicily. He is an industrial engineer, designer and entrepreneur. He creates many of Slide's products himself, using his deep knowledge of plastic materials and rotational moulding. With his great creativity, he uses everyday objects to create ironic, fun and colorful collections of design objects that reflect his personality. He takes extreme care in the design of his products, paying particular attention to detail.
