Welling Ludvik

Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik are a pair of designers from Denmark and Iceland. Hee Welling is a Danish designer who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Gudmundur Ludvik, on the other hand, is an Icelandic designer who received his diploma from the Icelandic Academy of Arts. Together, Welling and Ludvik have created a range of unique and stylish furniture designs that combine clean lines, bold colours and an emphasis on functionality and comfort. Their work features a minimalist aesthetic that is both timeless and modern.

The goal of Welling/Ludvik industrial design is to achieve the best possible solution from several different perspectives. Comfort, materials, construction, cost and environmental impact are the determining factors in their approach to design. Their designs have been featured at major design exhibitions and galleries around the world, including the Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair and Milan's Salone del Mobile. They have worked with a number of leading furniture brands, including Carl Hansen & Søn and Gubi.
