Harry & Camila

Harry van Ierssel was born in 1966 in Breda, the Netherlands. He studied at the Academy of Design in Eindhoven and the Domus Academy in Milan. Camila was born in Chile and grew up in Mexico, where she earned a master's degree in fashion design. They met in Milan in 1994, during their Master's studies at Domus Academy. Four years later, they married and founded the Harry & Camila office in Milan. The successful combination of the typically Dutch spirit of freedom and the sensuality of their Latin background gives them the opportunity to push design to new frontiers.

Although they moved to Barcelona in 2002, they continued commuting between Catalonia and Italy, where they consolidated their collaboration with major names in design such as Alessi, Salviati and Moroso. They gained their fame for their mysterious objects with futuristic shapes. Their design is also represented by the Bye - Bye collection of pots created for Vondom.
