Bruno Rainaldi

Bruno Rainaldi was born in Milan in 1952. Early in his career in Milan, he managed the first High-Tech Emporium on Corso di Porta Ticinese, then went on to work first alongside Maddalena De Pado in the historic showroom on Corso Venezia and then with Enrico Baleri as partner at Baleri & Associati, where he was responsible for defining communication strategies for design companies and stores. His beginnings in later life encouraged him to define himself, ironically and anti-celebratory, as a "street designer" and his style as "chaotically rigorous".

In the mid-1980s he founded Studio Rari, of which he became the soul and creative director. He also began working as art director for some of Italy's leading design companies, with his name being associated with Alivar, Casprini, MDF Italia, Mussi Italy, Sintesi, Slamp and Terzani, among others. In the early 2000s, his career focused on the world of design. Together with Marta Giardini he founded Entratalibera, a very special space in the heart of Milan dedicated to design and design culture. At the same time, his focus shifted to the study and creation of objects, accessories and lamps, where the experience gained over the years in this sector was mixed with design inventions.
