Studio ITO Design and cooperation with the ProfiM brand
ITO Design's international team, led by Christopher Schmidt, who founded the studio in 1987, works on projects across industries. However, it is mainly dedicated to the development of highly functional office furniture. Precision engineering and sophisticated mechanics, clean aesthetics and an emphasis on user comfort define the products, often awarded prestigious prizes such as the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award. The largest part of the portfolio of the studio based in Germany and Switzerland consists of office chairs for hybrid workplaces and home conditions.

Long-standing partnership between manufacturer and design studio
The cooperation between the renowned ProfiM brand and ITO Design studio is one of the most important partnerships in the field of office furniture in recent years. For more than a decade, together they have created a series of innovative collections that combine ergonomics, sustainability, aesthetics and functionality. The seating furniture reflects the current needs of modern offices and offers a huge range of optional features - from armrest types and synchronous mechanics to wheel types and colour combinations (and many more).

New and old in the portfolio
The latest news is the PACE collection. It is characterized by superior comfort and ergonomics, intuitive controls and customization options. The TRILLO chair with its simple silhouette is a great choice for open space, but thanks to its modern look, it can also fit into a student room or study, for example.
Active seating is aided by the ACCIS model, while XENON is designed specifically for lumbar support. In addition, this collection also includes classic meeting chairs in many designs. The ELLIE chair is more like a cosy armchair, but has all the attributes for healthy sitting. This is not the only reason why it has won several design awards. The progressive chairs designed by ITO Design Studio are at the top of the office furniture market, and we can't wait to see what else is in store for the future!
