About Blomus
Blomus is a family affair, currently in its fourth generation. The North Rhine-Westphalia region where the company operates was also once home to a thriving steel and coal industry. The family business was originally founded in 1921 to manufacture bicycle parts. In 1961, the family business made a major turnaround and began specializing in gifts and designer items made locally from copper, brass, tin and stainless steel. In 2000, the company adopted its current name , Blomus, and today's visionary design brand was born
Manufacturing process and durable materials
Blomus uses both traditional and modern materials. Perhaps the most important material since the company's inception has been stainless steel. The product portfolio has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception, as has the selection of materials, which today is truly diverse. In 2019, the ANI lamp took the deign prize again, impressing the judges with its innovative design, quality and functionality.
