Andreas Lund

Danish designer Andreas Lund graduated from the Danish Design School in 2000. He often collaborates with Jacob Rudbeck, although each has his own studio. In their collaboration he tries to bring Scandinavian design and its traditions to everyday products so that everything is functional and harmonious. Andreas Lund creates designs based on the Scandinavian ideals of simplicity, clarity, purity and authenticity. As a designer he is also interested in longevity, sustainability and the environment. This is evident in his work through his use of materials and his timeless, innovative and distinctive design aesthetic.

Driven by a desire to push boundaries, good design must be beautiful with lots of character and be able to move and touch the recipient and the reality around us. It does this particularly through its approach to the language of form and design. His ultimate goal is to create designs that are long-lasting while giving the user a sense of belonging and joy, as seen in his work for Softline.
