Dorota Koziara


Dorota Koziara was born in 1967. In 1993 she graduated from the Department of Interior Design and Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. Koziara designs interiors, scenography, everyday objects, furniture and exhibition arrangements. He also creates sculptures and installations and publishes texts on design. Koziara does not limit himself to one medium in his designs: he creates designs for entire interiors as well as small objects made using different techniques and materials. It can be glass, ceramics, wood, laminate or wicker.

Her clients include Polish and foreign companies such as Venini, Swarowski, Bisazza, Fiat, Du Pont, Noti, Slamp, Kauffman, Christian Dior, Tubądzin and many others. From 2005 to 2007 she was the editor-in-chief of Vox Design magazine, which she also founded. She collaborated with Alessandro Mendini and the Mendini studio in Milan for almost 10 years, was art director at Almi Design from 2007 to 2009 and has run her own studio in Milan since 2006.
