Ferdi Giardini


Ferdi Giardini was born in 1959 in Turin, where he still lives and works. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin with a degree in scenography. He had his first solo exhibition in 1986 at the Franz Paludetto Gallery in Turin. He continued his artistic activity with solo and collective exhibitions in public and private spaces in Italy and abroad. In 1996 he participated in the Rome Quadrennial.

Since 2005 he has been the head of the Industrial Design - Virtual Graphic Design course at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University. He collaborates with many renowned companies such as Luce Plan, Oluce, Ilti Luce, Antonangeli and Slide. His products for these companies are produced and sold all over the world. Unusual and distinctive products include, among others, the MANTEAU and MOLLY lamps for the Slide brand.
