Francesca Lanzavecchia

Designer Francesca Lanzavecchia (born in Pavia, Italy in 1983) is a storyteller, a bold and unconventional woman who is not lacking in empathy. She finds inspiration in nomadic life and creates products that are accessible to all types of people. She studied industrial design at Politecnico di Milano and in 2008 graduated in conceptual design from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, where her unique approach to product and interior design was formed.

In 2010 she founded Lanzavecchia + Wai, a multidisciplinary design studio with Hunn Wai, based in Pavia and Singapore. She has been its creative director since 2012. Her portfolio includes numerous collaborations with global brands. These include Hermés, LaCividina, FIAM and many others.
