Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni

Giovanni Garattoni was born in Rimini, where he still lives and works. He works as an architect, designer and graphic designer, in 1982 he became one of the founders of the graphic and multimedia research studio "Complotto Grafico" and in 1986 he was one of the young architects who founded the company Bolidismo. He is the author of architectural, scenographic and pictorial designs for many of the most innovative places on the Adriatic Riviera in the Emilia-Romagna region.

Garatonni's desire to create is initiated by many journeys and impressions not only from these journeys. Materials, places and methodology are the basis of all ideas and projects. Over the years Garattoni has explored new and old techniques, always trying to push the boundaries of contemporary art. He has never been afraid to create objects that capture our wildest imagination. His favourite material is glass, which, although challenging to produce and design, is worth the effort. He considers it his mission to create a new generation of objects designed to reinterpret tradition and innovate. All these aspects of his work can be found, for example, in the luxury collections BIG SOFA and GEA, which he created for Adrenalina.
