Guillaume Delvigne


Guillaume Delvigne was born in 1979 in France and graduated from Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique and Politecnico di Milano in 2002. After school, he began working in Milan alongside George J. Sowden, co-founder of the Memphis movement. In parallel, he designed his first custom objects for the Italian publisher Industreal. In 2005 he settled in Paris and worked for several years for renowned designers such as RADI Designers, Delo Lindo, Elium Studio, Marc Newson and Cédric Ragot. Since 2006 he has been a member of the design collective Dito.

In 2011 he opened his own studio, launched his first solo exhibition at ToolsGalerie and won the prestigious Grand Prize. Today he works in different fields such as furniture, objects, lighting or interior design, and collaborates with manufacturers, editors and craftsmen. He has also led numerous projects for major French companies such as Hermès, Givenchy, Cristal de Sèvres, Pierre Frey, ligne Roset, Habitat, Lexon and Tefal. Abroad, his main clients are Fabbian, Hanoia, Frandsen and Karakter Copenhagen. His designs are regularly presented in exhibitions in France and abroad and many of them have also been awarded. One of the distinctive products in which Delvigne has infused his design skills is the OMBRE lamp he created for Frandsen.
