Henrik Pedersen

Henrik Pedersen, who was born in 1967, graduated as a fashion designer and now runs the Danish design studio 365°, based in Aarhus, which focuses on lifestyle-based design. His work ranges from furniture and lighting to projects for clothing and food packaging. His furniture designs are characterised by elegance, excellent materials and formal purity. Henrik uses his education to explore the full range of design. His interest in mathematics coupled with his extensive experience gives him the intuitive ability to quickly guess whether a new design will work or not.

He takes an international approach to his design solutions, as his clients are Danish and international companies from many different business sectors. The shape, colour and choice of materials must complement each individual design. Good design, Pedersen says, is functional, beautiful and easy to understand - just like the collections he has created for Houe Denmark.
