Isabelle Rigal


Isabelle Rigal was born in Paris. She graduated from Saint Luc Superior School of Art in Belgium in 1984. In 1991, she won the "Leonardo da Vinci" design prize and the V.I.A. prize for French products sponsored by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She currently teaches design at the International Institute for Architecture and Design (I.D.E.A.) in Paris and is the first assistant professor of Design Management. She has worked with several Italian, French, German, American, Japanese and Singaporean furniture manufacturers in both industrial furniture and interior design. Her projects are characterised by the fusion of different components of international culture, always combining balance and harmony.
