Jin Kuramoto

Jin Kuramoto is a Japanese designer who was born and raised on a small island in the countryside. He graduated from Kanazawa College of Art in 1999 and in 2008 founded JIN KURAMOTO STUDIO INC. He designs various products such as furniture, home appliances, decorations and automobiles. He values the process of repeated trial and error, exploring materials, prototyping in a studio full of inspiration and creating positive coincidences. Jin applies his strong, clear and innovative design philosophy to products in a wide variety of fields. His work has won numerous international awards including the Red Dot Award, Good Design award and iF Product Design Award. He has worked with many renowned international companies, including Offecct, for whom he has created the WIND acoustic screen collection.
