Kosmos Project

The design duo Ewa Bochen and Maciej Jelski was founded in 2006 and often uses provocative work to "evoke emotions in the viewer". For example, they designed a hair comb resembling a duster and a radio in the shape of a cross, which caused a lot of controversy. The Design Kosmos Project was considered blasphemous by many, even though it was conceived as a commentary on the power of the media and the loneliness of individuals in contemporary society. Experimenting with form, colour and material, they juxtapose objects from different spheres. They describe their projects as "new symbols" that express the contemporary human condition.

The objects they create are characterized by geometric simplicity of form and are made of minimalist materials such as steel, wood, glass, leather, concrete. The Lulú armchair made by the Italian company Airnova, on the other hand, is a modernised version of the armchair that our grandmothers loved.
