Lo Bianco - Mansueto

The design duo Lo Bianco-Mansueto hails from Turin, Italy. The collaboration between these two designers resulted in the L'ASTRA curved glass lamp for the FIAM brand. Luca lo Bianco (born in 1971) studied architecture at the Politecnico di Torino and after graduating worked with emerging companies on interior architecture. In 2005, however, his field of activity expanded into industrial and product design. It was in this field that he met the designer Francesco Mansuet, two years his junior. He studied the same field and after working for major design studios, he moved into freelancing. He has worked on iconic products, designed furniture and concepts for global brands. His furniture for Felicerossi earned him an honorable mention Red Dot Design Award and he has collected numerous other awards.
