Lorenzo Remedi
Italian architect and designer Lorenzo Remedi (*1975, Pesaro) combines deep craftsmanship with academic knowledge. He has been involved in the furniture industry since his youth, which has given him a detailed understanding of all stages of product development, from materials to the final details. His fascination with drawing and planning eventually led him to study architecture at the University of Florence. Remedi is the founder of the multidisciplinary studio “Tratto 09 Architecture & Design,” which functions as a flexible, constantly evolving platform for architects and designers.
In his work, which he creates for both private clients and major international brands, he blurs the boundaries between large-scale architecture, interior design, and product design. His approach is based on a combination of practical technological knowledge and a clean visual concept, which gives his projects functional sophistication and a timeless aesthetic. One example is the BOLT side table, which he designed for the Bontempi brand.
