Manuel Barbieri

Manuel Barbieri is a young furniture and interior designer. He studied product and interior design at the Palladio Institute of Design in Verona. In 2012, he opened his own design studio Barbieri Design Lab and has collaborated with several well-known brands such as Scandola Marbles, Progetti, Linea Zero, Purapietra and Margraf. He is the co-founder and design director of the creative consultancy MM Company. He also teaches at Accademia Del Lusso in Milan, where he leads courses in retail design, personal branding and event management.

For Progetti , he created the Cuchino, Dandy and Cucuball cuckoo clock sets. His designs have a playful feel, elegant shapes and lightness. The Dandy cuckoos, for example, are a modern and original reminder of the moustaches worn by gentlemen in 19th century London. Today we can remember this symbol, for example, through these cuckoos. Dandy cuckoos can be hung on the wall or simply placed on a table or shelf. Their playful, casual design will add an elegant and ironic touch to any room.
