Salem van der Swaagh

Colour and materials specialist and textile designer currently based in New York. Salem van der Swaagh graduated from RISD and Design Academy Eindhoven and has worked for a number of clients and studios in the textile industry. Her areas of expertise have included woven material development, interior textile dyeing and eco-friendly textile design. She first worked in Berlin, where she established her own sustainable brand. Today she shares her expertise in material and colour development with various brands in Europe and America. She consults for the Knoll brand and created a carpet collection for the Italian company Tacchini, which was launched at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
