Teppo Asikainen

Teppo Asikainen was born in 1968 in Finland and today is one of the partners of the architecture and design firm Valvomo, founded in 1993 in Helsinki. The studio deals with all areas of design, from architecture to products. Their designs are part of the permanent collections of several museums, including MoMA in New York. They currently design products for a number of Japanese and European design manufacturers. She focuses not only on the practicality of each piece, but also on its appearance and how it will look in the space. Thus, he strives to bring each product to perfection through all stages of production.

Asikainen collaborated with Offecct on the SOUNDWAVE collection of acoustic panels, including the Swell, Luna and Scrunch panels. These panels are functional and attractive and are designed to absorb sound effectively while providing an elegant addition to any interior.
