Teruhiro Yanagihara


Teruhiro Yanagihara was born in 1976 in Japan and spent his youth in Kagawa Prefecture. In 2002, he founded his own company to develop his own recognizable design vision. Since then, he has been involved in designs for national and international clients. His projects cross borders, blend cultures and create encounters between contemporary design, industry and Japanese crafts. Yanagihara has exhibited his work at several international fairs, including the Stockholm Furniture Fair and Milan Salone.

He has been a product designer for clients such as Offecct, for whom he has created the OSAKA table collection, as well as Pallucco, Landscape Forms, Wallpaper and Kimura Glass, and an interior designer for Sergio Rossi and Less Is More (LIM) Group in Japan. He is the creative director of furniture brand KARIMOKU NEW STANDARD, leather goods collection TYP by Morpho and ceramic brand 1616/ Arita Japan. He is currently working as creative director on a ceramic project celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Arita ceramic industry in Japan, and is personally involved in product development.
