Ton Haas

Since the early 1980s, Dutch designer Ton Haas has been famous for his collaborations with well-known manufacturers such as Gispen, Crassevig, Casamania, Thonet, Dietiker and Caimi. Today, his main focus is on creating and developing innovative seating solutions for the harechair®. Ton Haas designs have won numerous awards such as the 'ID Award', the 'iF product design award and last but not least the Design Plus Material Vision 2011 award.

In addition to his work in hi-tech modern environments, Ton enjoys working with ethnic artisans in countries as diverse as Kenya, Haiti, Chile and Cuba. This unique blend of inspiration is clearly reflected in his stylish and innovative products. One of the many companies Ton Haas works with is Italy's Crassevig, for whom he created the unique Nett collection of chairs, which can also be found in our portfolio.
