Umberto Bellardi Ricci

A symphony of art and design, that is how one could describe the work of the Italian sculptor and architect Umberto Bellardi Ricci. He began his work with geometric abstraction projected onto concrete castings. He then exchanged modernism for folded sculptures in steel and brass, often decorated with light sources. The combination of different materials, industrial elements marble and glass are close to the artist. Umberto Bellardi Ricci is based in New York, but also works in other places such as London and Mexico. He collaborates with various brands. He has designed for Jenna Lyons' studio in Soho and the Italian company Tacchini.
