Practicality and style
The Pipe designer bar stool is a simple, versatile piece for home bars and restaurants. Its designer, Jasper Morrison, relied on a special technical solution for its production: he attached the seat and backrest to the aluminium tube frame using a special adhesive that allows them to be fixed without screws and rivets. The seat is made of beech plywood. For even more versatile use, the chair is available in several colour options and two different heights. The chair is also suitable for outdoor use and is fire resistant.
High or low bar stool? Which is the right one?
High bar stools are mainly used in restaurants, bars, bistros and other eating establishments. It is characterised by a seat height of around 75 cm. It is recommended to have a bar top height between 110 and 115 cm for a high bar stool.
The low or also kitchen bar stool is most commonly used for home kitchen bars and islands. Its seat height is around 65 cm. The recommended height of the bar top is then between 91 - 95 cm.
PIPE Collection
In 2008, the world-famous designer Jasper Morrison designed PIPE furniture for the leading Italian brand Magis . The simple, minimalist design of the collection perfectly shapes, for example, public spaces, offices or waiting rooms. The basis of the collection are chairs without arms and with arms, table and bar stools made of aluminium, to which Morrison was not afraid to add wooden elements in some variants, this makes each piece of this collection is unique. Most of the products mentioned can also come in colour variations.
