ALPINA design chair
A sustainable piece full of style
The design duo Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby were inspired by the traditional Alpine furniture industry to design the ALPINA chair . The designers kept it simple and multifunctional, but gave it a modern face with sustainable materials. The seat and legs are made of FSC-certified solid ash wood , while the backrest is made of bio-based recyclable polypropylene (sourced from waste cooking oils).
