How to Choose a Dining Table

Choosing the right dining table can be harder than it seems at first glance. In addition to the design and material of the base and tabletop, you also need to consider its dimensions and style. Would an extendable table suit you better, or do you prefer a classic style? Should you choose a square tabletop or a round one? To make this challenging task easier for you, we’ve put together a few tips to guide you in your selection.

The Versatile MORE Collection

The MORE table collection from the Italian brand MIDJ offers a wide range of options when it comes to choosing the size of the tabletop. The collection is simple, airy, and above all, practical. It is very similar to the Badù collection, but here the designers opted for thin yet sturdy legs that give the table an almost spider-like appearance. All tables are extendable and can accommodate up to 12 people. Some tables can even be extended to more than double their original size. These pieces are minimalist and pair perfectly with MIDJ’s elegant chairs.

The table is ideal for kitchens and dining rooms. Especially if you’re short on space, you’ll appreciate that you can extend it only when you need to, and the rest of the time, you can use it as a significantly smaller table for just a few people. It’s also a great solution for conference and meeting rooms. On some models, the extension leaves are made of a different material than the main tabletop. This applies to glass and ceramic tabletops , whose extension leaves are made of lacquered wood.
